Well yesterday could have been worse. After recieving the call that faire was cancelled due to high water we alll had breakfast and then the adults headed out to see what we could do at site.

 I expected worse damage and was glad it was not worse. 2 merchants lost their inventories (I feel so sad for them)  Other stuff was damaged. Spent time hauling out soaked items from my guild area   and then went to work on moving debris and souring the creek banks for items that had washed down stream to return to the owners.  It is amazing to me that the water could have gotten as high and out of control as it did.  (This coming from a country girl who grew up seeing flooding along the river bottom)

 Glad no one was hurt.

Now to regroup and prepare for next weekends re-opening
